Braemar Plc provides shipbroking services in the United Kingdom and internationally. It operates in three segments: Investment Advisory, Chartering, and Risk Advisory. The Chartering segment provides shipbroking services for deep sea tankers, specialized tankers, dry cargo, and offshore; cost-saving solutions; freight consultancy; and a vessel database. The Investment Advisory segment offers investment consultancy, new build advisory services, sales and purchase brokerage, asset valuation, capital raising and corporate finance, and mergers and acquisition advisory services.

The company was formerly known as Braemar Shipping Services Plc and changed its name to Braemar Plc in September 2022. Braemar Plc was incorporated in 1988 and is based in London, the United Kingdom.
